Personal History

*1562(?) - Byleth is born to Sitri and Jeralt Eizner. The infant Bozjan was born without crying or screaming as any ordinary newborn would, which gave his parents alarm. Nothing seemed wrong with the child as he was quite healthy, so that did relieve the parents also, however his birth came at a cost. Sitri was ever a woman with a frail constitution, so giving birth to her son had taxed her body too greatly.
The newborn's father is given the poor hand in life to raise the child alone. Byleth is soon and swiftly taken out of Bozja Citadel by his father. This was during the time that the nation of Bozja was an imperial province.
The infant and the father manage to leave Bozja before the Bozja Citadel Incident had occured.
Byleth is then raised by his father, whom at some point creates a mercenary company. He learns combat and strategy from his father. Byleth also develops new skills from the various talented members of the company as he grew up.

Professional History

○ Bold Brigade mercenary Co. - Unaccounted amount of years, but Byleth had left the company about a year ago to pursue a personal career.
○ Personal Sword Trainer - There was a brief period in time when Byleth was accepted to be a sword trainer.
○ Bozjan Resistance - Originally joining as a soldier, Byleth was elected to become part of the new generation of Blades of Gunnhildr. The Blades of Gunnhildr are an elite unit of soldiers in the Bozjan resistance.
○ Duchy of Leonwald - Byleth has been hired on as a mercenary to the Dalmascan house Leonwald.

Dislikes: Not hooking a fish, intense sour foods, disloyalty, arrogance, Garlean empire, and close-mindedness.

Active Class

(FE) Enlightened One - A capable fighter that can provide support to allies. With the access to magic, Byleth can heal allies and defeat enemies with magical attacks. Melee combat is still applicable.
(ICly) Bozjan Blade/Gunbreaker - A Blade of Gunnhildr is an elite class of soldier in the Bozjan resistance. Hardy, versatile, and courageous; Blades are excellent fighters in either spellcraft or warfare.

Description: A Bozjan Blade turned mercenary captain, and then Bozjan Blade once again. Jeralt has raised Byleth in a mercenary company that he founded. Headstrong, stern, and compassionate; Jeralt was an excellent leader, father, and a husband.

Sitri Eizner

Relationship: Mother
Status: Deceased
Description: Young, frail, but bright; Sitri was a Bozjan maiden that doted and supported her husband. She carried Byleth for 9 months after conceiving him, and she already was in love with her child. And though it costed her her life to give birth him, her one wish for her son was that he finds happiness in a bleak world.

Sylvian, the Staunch Lance

Relationship: Mentor, father-like figure, friend
Status: Alive
Description: Sylvain is an officer with the Bozjan resistance, but before that he was Jeralt's second-hand man back in the Bold Brigade. He has helped raise Byleth, instructed him in the ways of the lance, and continues to look after the young Bozjan in place of his old friend.

Ashla Larte

Relationship: Fiancee
Status: Alive
Description: Hailing from Dalmasca, Ashla was brought to Bozja with her then-current commanding officer. It was through an effort to strengthen the relationship between the two resistances that Byleth and Ashla met. Through trial and tribulation, the two have grown close, and are now engaged to be married.

Duchess Helzin Leonwald

Status: Alive
Description: A noble from a Dalmascan house in the Skatay Range. Helzin employed Byleth to assist her company of unique individuals to render aid to the people of Garlemald.

  • Mercenary alias: Perhaps you've heard of the name, "Ashen Demon" before if you are also another sellsword.

  • Mercenary contact: Maybe you've met Byleth a long time ago while on a job that cooperated with another mercenary group that Byleth belonged to.

  • Wandering sellsword: Byleth is on his own now, and is travelling the world to see it in more depth and expand his knowledge. There may be a chance you have or will bump into him on your travels.

  • Dense Aether: Byleth's aether has grown denser since his soul has fused with another through the use of his Echo. Anyone capable of reading aether could detect Byleth's dense aether signature.
